The rain couldn't drown out the joy on campus over Reunion weekend. Moments turned into memories as more than 800 alumni from class years ending in 0 and 5, as well as alumni spanning every era of Skidmore's theater program, returned to campus for Reunion 2025.

Summer at Skidmore

‌T Mostly Modern Festival, an international music festival celebrating classical music in all its diversity, returns to Zankel Music Center for its sixth season. Tickets can be or at the Zankel box office. Skidmore students, faculty, and staff may attend free of charge by showing their Skidmore ID at Zankel Music Center. ‌

Free fitness classes for employees 

‌T Live More, Skidmore worksite wellness program is offering free fitness classes to employees during the month of June. ‌Classes include yoga, water aerobics, pilates, kettlebell mastery, spin, and cardio sculpt. Registration for June 9-13 will open on at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 6. 

‌‌New ReuseMore program at the Spa ‌

‌T Spa is rolling out a new to-go program in partnership with the Office of Sustainability. Download the Reuzzi phone app on or devices and sign up with your Skidmore email. To use, scan to “check out” the container and again when it is returned to the bins. The app is free and includes built-in rewards. Contact John Winnek or Stacey Tourtelot with questions. 

‌‘Navigating the Now’ - faculty and staff community space 

Employees are invited to come together to process current events, share reflections, and build connections during a weekly community gathering, every Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in McCaffery-Wagman Health and Wellness Center’s community room, on the second floor. ‌‘Pride in Place: Uplifting LGBTQ+ Voices in Our Region’ ‌

‌Join Wyckoff Center and Institutional Diversity in recognizing Pride Month with a powerful conversation featuring leaders from four regional LGBTQ+ organizations from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, in Wyckoff Center. A reception will follow.

‌Skidmore Shop summer hours 

‌T Skidmore Shop will be operating on summer hours for the remainder of the summer, unless otherwise noted: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sunday. will continue to be processed throughout the summer. 

‌Spring and summer maintenance projects

‌Facilities Services has several maintenance and improvement projects planned for the spring and summer. More detailed updates will be available on the Facilities web page and shared as specific projects begin. Contact Facilities (ext. 5860) with questions. 

‌S‌ummer pop-up grill ‌ ‌

‌Dining Services is offering a pop-up grill on Porter Plaza, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The grill menu features burgers, hotdogs, chicken, meatless options, and other specials throughout the summer. ‌ 

‌In It 10 save the date and performance ‌This fall’s In It 10 series, an annual suite of programs designed to deepen understandings of different perspectives and foster a more connected community at Skidmore, will feature a dynamic concert by the legendary vocal ensemble , at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, at Zankel Music Center. Tickets are limited and will be available in the coming weeks. ‌

‌Summer Bulletin publication schedule ‌

‌Through Aug. 20, Bulletin will be distributed only to faculty and staff, as well as students who remain on campus during the summer. It will also continue to be posted online. To submit announcements and events, please complete the online submission form. The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday. For questions, email swb@skidmore.edu.
