Pride Month 2025
Pride in Place: Uplifting LGBTQ+ Voices in Our Region
Tuesday, June 17, 2025 | 1-2pm
Wyckoff Center
Join us as we recognize Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride month with a powerful conversation featuring leaders from four regional LGBTQ+ organizations who are shaping the future of queer life in our communities. In a time when LGBTQ+ rights and visibility face increasing challenges, this event invites the campus community to engage with local advocates working at the intersections of identity, place, and justice.
Panelists include:
Cam Cardinale, : Supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals across Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga
counties
Nathaniel Gray, : Representing the nation’s longest continually operating pride center
Tandra LaGrone, : Advocating for the survival, wellness, and empowerment of LGBTQ+ people of color
Cindy Swadba, : Strengthening connection and visibility in our own backyard
Together, these voices will explore what it means to build inclusive, resilient communities -especially in regions where queer identities can be overlooked or underrepresented.
All are welcome. Reception to follow.
